Ajmal's bowling action is found to be illegal after being analyzed in Australia.
DUBAI (Web Desk) – International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a ban on Saeed Ajmal in the wake of his illegal bowling action with immediate effect on Tuesday.Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal was sent to Australia after being reported of a suspicious bowling action in the Test match against Sri Lanka in Galle.ICC states that an independent analysis on his bowling action was conducted as a result of which Ajmal’s bowling action is found to be illegal. According to the reports, Saeed Ajmal’s deliveries exceeded 15 degrees level of tolerance permitted under the regulations.Saeed Ajmal can plead an appeal against the decision within 15 days of the sanction.Share this:
